A Silent Meek Student’s metamorphosis into a confident Social Entrepreneur | PP Shreyas

My journey as a student and as an undergraduate has kindled my passion towards social service and bringing a change in the society. This evolvement has been drastic and path changing to my life during this pandemic period. My passion has given a scope in the right direction and materialized in the form of my own NGO “ Bodhan” bridging way to adulthood. The word Bodhan is evolved from Sanskrit meaning “ To Educate”.


In the Year 2017, I had an opportunity to be a part of the Global Young Leaders Conference at New York and Washington DC, USA where I was a Vice Chair in this program and also a delegate at United Nations Headquarters. This was a turning point in my life and guided me in my choose path.

My three years of graduation of BBA in specialization with liberal arts curriculum in VIT AP, have expanded my horizons and made me realize that my true calling towards to be as a successful Social Entrepreneur with service and commitment in influencing new thinking in the younger generation.



Some of My major subjects in the field of Anthropology, Ethnography, gender studies, qualitative and quantitative research has widened my horizons and helped my true calling .

I was instrumental in starting a new club called Sanskriti in my first year which provides a platform for exchange of diverse culture and students to show case their talents.

In my second year I established a open community club namely “Rudra” first of its kind to bring about a holistic idea of voluntary donation and by recycling of used items which are eventually donated to the orphanages and the needy. My Motto as a Former Chairperson in Rudra is to donate Humanity and visualize joy of giving .

My registered NGO “Project Bodhan” aims to implement the right perspective on mental health , sex education, life skill education, women empowerment , special welfare for under privileged children and Dyslexic children and health care. Conducted multiple webinars and sessions with bureaucrats and experts in various fields across the country.

I also hosted an international conclave an initiative in remembrance of Late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, The Former President of India on his 89th Birthday. This conclave was with eminent personalities such as Senior Academicians , High Court Judge, Senior Advocate, and IAS officer topics relating to Holistic leadership, skill development , block chain technology, crypto currency, and social issues of domestic violence.


Well-being sessions were conducted with people from different fields such as Business Entrepreneur, Artists, Theater-based life coach, Musicians, IFS Officer with my strength of connecting and convincing skills truly an interactive and learning experience.



Successful in collaborating my NGO with leading organizations such as the Rotaract, Lions clubs, Inner Wheel and many more across the country. This has strengthened my resolve to pursue my career in this field .

On 9th Sep 2020, I was felicitated The Indian Achievers Award for the title Social Service by the Indian Achievers Forum, New Delhi.




On 4th December 2020 I had the privilege of meeting the Honorable Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu and presented my NGO “Project Bodhan” portfolio to his excellency.



On 10th August 2021, I was featured along with my brainchild Project Bodhan in the inaugural version of “ 30 Under 30”, a social media campaign where I was selected one among the 30 Social Entrepreneurs across India under the age of 30, which is an initiative of i5 Summit, the largest Entrepreneurship summit of central India, hosted by IIM and IIT - Indore.



Now days I have been invited as a Guest Speaker in Various recognized forums such as NSS Unit of Narsee Monji College-Mumbai, IEEE branch of Panimalar Institute of Technology, Chennai-Affiliate of Anna University, THENKOODU community, a leading NGO in Coimbatore, Law Internships - Online Law School, Rotaract Task Force- an initiative of Rotary International District 3181, Karnataka and many more.


I am also holding several leadership and advisory posts in various NGO’s and communities both national and International. Currently I am pursuing my Post graduate program in Anant National University, Ahmedabad. This Programme is known as Anant Fellowship on Built Environment.
