It is said that what you give, you get! If you give love, you get only love! Today, as a student, every little deed whatever I have done to all my teachers across the globe, has come back to me three times more as a teacher.
People misunderstand you when you shower love or show gratitude. It is being perceived that one does it only to get their things done. But it is not true. You show love to a person even otherwise. One does not need a specific reason to do so. God is watching! I am so thankful to God for creating me the way I am. I have no regrets for being just me!
"A Teacher hold the hand of a child, moulds the mind and touches the heart". As a teacher, always been surrounded with enthusiastic students and just love being with them. 29th of October,2015, a morning that was different from the others.
It started with emotions, tears of joy, happiness and a proud moment for me as a teacher to see an email from my special student Erin, who is autistic and has a nervous problem. I have not even met her in person and taught her all the subjects of MBA and PhD coursework only through phone.
I am a teacher who loves challenges. The challenge here for me was to make Erin understand MBA, management subjects in the language she can understand. I used to watch videos on Youtube on how to teach such special children and then teach her. And she had a leverage of 5 years to finish her MBA but I made her finish it in 2 years like any other normal student.
It gives me so much happiness to hear and share that she has cleared all her subjects of MBA with a distinction of 89% and registered herself for PhD in statistics. She took my help even in her coursework subjects of PhD which is usually research methodology and a few other subjects which she had to do. She has finished her coursework and topped among all her batch mates who were normal.
As a teacher, today I share with joy, a story about my special student, Erin. A girl who came to me with nil confidence level due to her health, today has finished her MBA, doing her PhD and is working as a researcher in a statistics research company in New York,USA.
Blessed to be a teacher!
