With the title of the best player in the Indian Divyang cricket team, Ranjit Gurjar performed best on the strength of his courage and brought laurels to the district and the state at the national level. Ranjit, son of farmer Dharam Gurjar, said that he never let his disability come in the way of his life. With the help of hard work and courage, the passion and spirit to win every battle have been his biggest strength. Ranjit had suffered a leg injury due to a fall in his childhood, due to which he had to face a lot of trouble.


In the year 2016, while studying, I got information about sports and started participating. With great interest and enthusiasm in sports, he continued to move forward and after 2 years of hard work in para, cricket got a place in the India team. For the first time in 2017, the selection took place in Singapore and Sri Lanka. Now there is a wave of happiness that he has been selected for the Divyang Premier League Dubai.



Selection in Divyang Cricket League:

Red Divyang player Ranjit Singh Gurjar of village Camri has been selected in Divyang Premier League. Karauli's Ranjit Gurjar along with other players of the Indian team was the one to be seen playing on behalf of the Divyang Cricket Control Board of India at the International Cricket Stadium in Sharjah, Dubai. In this tournament, 90 players were selected in six teams from different states, including the names of 6 skilled Divyang players from Rajasthan.


Founder of Divyang Cricket Control Board of India Haroon Rashid and Team Manager Durgesh Sharma said that a physical Divyang Premier League (DPL) cricket tournament will be organized for Divyang cricket players. In which 6 teams from all over the country are participating.


Ranjit was the one to be selected by the Rajasthan Rajwada team.6 players from Rajasthan were included in this competition, including Ranjit Gurjar including Ramsingh, Shakti, Nashir, Durgesh Sharma, and Rajesh Dhakad have been prominently selected.


The fitness camp was organized by the Divyang Cricket Board in Agra before the departure of this league. Various facilities were organized by the board such as the Covid-19 test, all the players were given the facility of insurance coverage so that no single player will be inconvenienced in any way.



The journey has not been easy:

Ranjeet says that his journey to play cricket has not been easy. In childhood, due to weak economic conditions and being disabled, he had to face trouble. But family inspired to play, then never looked back. According to Ranjeet, his father supported him a lot. This is the reason why he was able to perform consistently better in international competitions.




The next goal is to play in the World Cup:

According to Ranjeet, now his next goal is to play the World Cup match. They want to bring glory to the country and the state by winning the World Cup. Preparing for this. At the same time, there is an atmosphere of happiness in the entire village with the family due to his becoming the vice-captain.
