Have you ever felt the need in life to ask yourself questions about your destiny? Who am I? Why am I here? What am I supposed to be doing? What are the gifts and natural abilities that I was born to do? Where do I fit in to make a positive contribution to society? How do I discover my life's purpose?
A few decades ago, I found myself in this situation, struggling to discover my place in life. As I moved from one profession to another, I wasted time and resources. I lack a sense of fulfillment, direction, satisfaction, and focus in life.
A few years later, when I finally discovered my place and started living my dreams, I was fulfilled. That was the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Since then, my mission has been to help individuals discover their purpose and experience the life they want and deserve.

What is my life's purpose?
Myles Munroe defines purpose as "the original intent for the creation of a thing."It is the reason for its existence and the why behind something’s existence.
Purpose, in my opinion, is about finding where you belong, doing what you love, what you’re good at, and what you care about most in the world in order to have a fulfilling life. Purpose also means solving a specific problem, meeting a specific need, and adding value to humanity through the services you offer.
What are the five signs you’re not living your purpose?
Do you struggle to excel at your current job?
Do you lack a sense of fulfilment and satisfaction?
Do you worry about going to work every morning?
Is your motivation at work focused on the pay check alone?
Do you always look at the time and expect the weekend to come?
Why is discovering your life's purpose important?
The reason is that life becomes more meaningful and fulfilling when you discover your purpose, something you were born to do, something you are passionate about, that dream you aspire to achieve, and make a positive impact on the world.
How do you discover your life's purpose?
At Kelly Benedict International (KBI), we have developed a tool to help individuals discover their life purpose. It is called the KBI Purpose Blueprint. The essence of this model is not only to show people how to discover their purpose, but also to show them how to make a living doing what they enjoy doing.
The KBI Purpose Blueprint includes:
1. Find Your Life's Purpose
If you were to start a new venture as a means to achieve your purpose, it could be something you’re passionate about, good at, or interested in, and find fulfilling:
Ask yourself: What would you do? What’s your why?
2. Make a Difference
To be able to make a positive impact on society, you need to understand the problem your purpose is solving and the target audience that needs what you have.
What problem are you solving with this purpose? Who has this problem?
3. Make a Living
After you discover the problem your purpose is solving, you need to define the type of service or product you will be offering to your ideal audience. How do you solve this problem? Can you create a product or service that satisfies your target market's wants and needs?
4. Leave a Legacy
It's not enough to discover your purpose; you need to define your legacy. Knowing what you want to be remembered for will help you stay focused and committed to your life's work. For example, when you think of Ford cars, Nike, and Zara, what comes to your mind? How about exceptional leaders like Myles Munroe? What about great innovators like Steve Job?
So, as you pursue your dream and build your empire, what do you want to be remembered for?
In summary, living a purposeful life is the best thing that will ever happen to you, whether personally or professionally. This is because chasing your life purpose brings a sense of direction, focus, fulfillment, and satisfaction in life.
Questions for you to ponder:
At the individual level, have you discovered your life's purpose? What makes you passionate? What factors influenced your decision to pursue a career in your current field?
Corporate level: Why does your company exist? Why did you choose your industry? What do you want your company to be known for?
