It is way past time that we speakers in Africa stop looking outside of our continent for wisdom, for business models and for speaking styles.
The speakers in Africa, whether professional, public or religious leaders, have some amazing and powerful insights that we could benefit the rest of the world with, rather than deferring to imported ideas.
And so the Pan Africa Speaker Summit has been created. In this event, happening online on 24 / 25 June 2022, we speakers (and trainers, facilitators, coaches and mentors) will support each other. In our two day event, professional speakers will teach, share, model, debate and network with each other to share the experiences we have.
Our goals are
To build a network of speakers on the African continent, so that we know who we are and what we speak about, and we can support, encourage and refer business to each other
To raise our level of professionalism so that we can do better, more sustainable speaking business
To encourage each other to seek speaking opportunities outside of Africa
And to demonstrate to the rest of the world that Africa’s speakers have real value worth investing in.
The summit is co-hosted by our associations.
