Getting Paid For what I Love | Ali Zandpour

There are many things I #love, there are few things I don’t love, yet I feel extreme gratification from teaching more than anything else. It is a great feeling when you see people, children flourish. It feels even more gratifying when you are able to pass on your knowledge and expertise and that you can see them flourish, improve and go beyond your expectations.

I feel humbled to have had the opportunity to work with many entrepreneurs in the past year and a half. Most importantly I have had the great honour to work as a trainee with #GirlsInTech in Gibraltar, helping them to improve and hone in on their public speaking and pitching skills.

The program I created two years ago, #PitchToWin was successful enough for #GirlsInTech to call me back for the second time in less than one year.

It has been a humbling experience to see each and every one of the participants move a notch up, pick up a few new tricks and feel more confident on stage.  Most humbling is to receive feedback like this from those who attended which was beyond my expectation.  It feels me with #gratitude and #respect for those who faced their fears and conquered in a short space of time. This experience has given me the confidence that the little and short time I had has made enough difference, to help me carry on this path of teaching, sharing my knowledge, learning from them and growing in the process.
