Define your Goal: Whether it is a generic goal of having more than 50 people in my network by the end of the month or more specific of making profits of $100,000, writing it down gives a start of a blue print. This includes personal fitness goals or improving your relationship with your spouse.

The most important thing here is WHY(why is this important for you)? And BY WHEN? These two questions visited on regular basis will make you make your focus stronger and actions consistent.

Use a calendar: This could be iCal for mac users to a traditional diary or a wallpaper calendar. Block out the dates for the important meetings and travel, this gives you a realistic time to achieve your intended goal. Then colour-code this exact specific goal and see how you accommodate this at least 3-4times a week.

Journal: Using a personal journal to write about your daily triumphs and failures helps you reflect what are the areas you are doing well and what do you need to excel in.

Research & Relearn: Whatever your goal is, talk to people who you think might have already achieved this, how did they do it? What were their challenges? Read books and watch videos on the topic. Get all the knowledge you need to dive in.

Knowledge is knowing, wisdom is doing: No matter how many books you have read on swimming you got to take the plunge to find out where you stand, how much more practice you need. Do the work, go all in and learn along the way.

There is never a perfect time to start doing.

Have small pitstops: Have a to do list, I really like the app “Wunderlist”. It helps you check off the small wins before the big final win. Alternates to this is manually just writing down or use simple notepad.

Do the work, ditch the expectation of the result: This is the part all of us get stuck, we are so focused on the result, we either get demotivated or give up completely. The result is not in your control, focus on what is. The result will follow through. All the luck in achieving those dream goals! Do leave a comment below what your favorite tip or if I missed out on any that really helps you.
