We’re always looking at new ways to live up to our ethics here at Makermet, and we love a bit of old-fashioned spirit. Rather than sending wasteful cards to our clients this year, we’re taking a different approach to our festive efforts by turning our attention to the local community.
It seems that the best way we can make the biggest impact is to lend our skills and experience to organisations already working in the community, supporting some of the most vulnerable members of society.
So, this Christmas, we’d like to offer a full day of studio time with our expert design team, free of charge and no strings attached, to those who can best make a difference to the neediest in our community. By doing what we do best, we hope to advance your cause by bringing a bit of expert design knowledge to bear on supporting your brilliant efforts. Our director, Alex explains:
"When we started to plan the annual Christmas cards send-out, we stopped to think about whether we could find a better way to show some love to our clients and the community at large. Putting our efforts behind a local cause is a more creative use of resources, which addresses an urgent local problem, and reduces our environmental footprint."
We’re looking to give this unique gift to a charitable or demonstrably community-oriented organisation working in Nottinghamshire. The winning candidate will be the project we think we can add the most value to.
