Nothing stops me from doing what I love | Jagan Manjunath

Jagan is basically from Mysore Karnataka, 6 years back he met with an accident which very badly affected his spinal cord and neck, since by that time he cannot walk, so he is using a Wheelchair for the past 6 years, but nothing has stopped him from doing what he loves.

Nothing stops me from doing what I love


The person who is facing spinal cord injury (SCI'S) have a high lifetime risk for medical complications and other health conditions, secondary to their injury, many secondary conditions can be prevented through appropriate self-care / self-management, where these injuries include pain, shoulder pain, urinary tract infections, respiratory complications.



Contribute to the medical cost and a high rate of hospitalization in the first year after injury. The most common course of SCI in the world is traffic accidents, which is now what Jagan is facing, so rather than spinal cord injury. He also met with the other injuries called T3 T4 T5 which is called thoracic injury which appears in the lower chest part of the body.


Also, Jagan got 6 other injuries that affected his survical part which leads to a major operation. After all these things because of hospital carelessness, he was bedridden for the first one and half years, which affected his mental disorder very badly.



But still, Jagan did not lose hope, he started his journey by choosing his career in Modelling, Photography and Wildlife Photographer, which are his passion and hobbies. Right now he created his own foundation in which he organizes events in partiche world where their foundation do social work towards physically challenged person which gives him a more positive supportive and satisfactory hand for other people like him.


Basically, Jagan chose his profession as a graphic designer and photographer, besides he also has a passion for event organization and sports. This also results in building his own studio where he do kids photography, model shoot and wildlife photography. He also shoots physically challenged people which gives him more confidence in his work.


Right now, Jagan started a career in sports in which he plays para-badminton where he participated at the state level and also got his first medal at the state level and further his hope to participate at the national level to represent India.


Although Jagan is the first man who participated in Mr. Wheelchair Model in Karnataka and has done so many shows as a model in different cities, which is now he is a part of Mr. and Mrs. Wheelchair competition and became the finalist of Mr. Wheelchair competition.
