There is a parable about achieving goals. People had the legend: the one who picks a white flower on the mountain on the New Year Eve, will be happy. According to people, this mountain was magic. It was constantly shaking, and no one could stick on it.
However, every New Year there were brave hearts, who tried to conquer it. Once, three friends decided to try their luck. Before their trip they decided to visit the sage and ask him for advice.
- Fall seven times, stand up eight - he advised. Three friends went to the mountain, each of them chose a climbing rout. An hour later, the first boy returned covered in bruises.
- The sage was wrong - he said. - I fell seven times, and when I stood up the eighth time, there was only a quarter of the mountain. Then I decided to return. The second young man came back in two hours. He was covered in bruises as well and said:
- The sage deceived us. I fell seven times, and when I stood up the eighth time I saw that I had covered only a third of the mountain. And then I decided to return. The third young man came back next day with a white flower with no scratches in his hands.
- Did not you fall? - his friends asked. - I fell a hundred times or more. I did not count - the young man said.
- Why do you have no bruises and scratches? - his friends wondered. - I learned to fall before going to the mountain - the young man laughed.
- This man has learned not to fall, but to rise. So he is able to achieve every goal in life! - the sage said when he heard about this. The third young man was a dreamer. And you have to be like him to achieve your goal.
