Rising with Resilience!

Calvin Coolidge, the 30th President of the United States of America once noted that "nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".

Have you ever wondered how would life be without problems? Each day of our life we seek to escape. We always think about why do we have to face struggles and why we cannot achieve things easily.

Well, the answer lies in growth. The adversities we face are a testimonial to the success we aspire to achieve. As individuals, we are here to walk the pathway to our purpose. The most important element that distinguishes us from others is our ability to learn and unlearn.

In his book, "Life's Amazing Secrets", Gaur Gopal Das rightly said, "We all have three things in common: We are all stuck, we all have a journey to complete, and we all have a destination that we choose."

It is important to realize the power of challenges. The challenges that define us. Amidst uncertainty, we have two choices – either we criticize the circumstances that hold us back or we create the scenarios that push us forward. The big question we need to ask ourselves is – "Is this choice taking me closer to my end goal?"

Our choice determines our success. Resilience is not merely the absence of obstacles; it is rather using those obstacles to become a better version of ourselves. We can adopt a big picture vision while simultaneously celebrating the smallest of our victories – the victories of hustle, perseverance, grit, and most importantly courage.

As the director, Baz Luhrmann says, 'the race is long, and in the end, only with yourself.'

We all witness setbacks. The road to success begins with failures. We face rejections. We struggle to make those sales. We run for numbers. But during this hustle, we often forget to question" Are we growing?" "Are we getting better than yesterday? "

We must adopt the following three principles to navigate through the challenges of life -

Concentrate on what you can control – Focus on what you can control, not on what you can't change or can only influence. This means focusing on the process, not the outcome.

What is it trying to teach me – Every setback we face has something to teach us. The lessons help us emerge as stronger beings who are more competent, capable, and courageous to fight every obstacle that comes our way.

Most importantly, always remember

Action + Adaptability = Opportunity

Our choice to adapt in any situation combined with our ability to take action for the biggest of our dreams paves way for opportunities for success, financial freedom, and happiness.

There is nothing bigger than the power of belief. If we believe in our vision to inspire others through our journey of success, struggle, and stupendous transformation then the universe reciprocates for every effort we make to become bigger than who we are.

In the end, I follow these lines written by me….

In the moments of uncertainty, I choose to be certain

In the moments of testing times, I choose to triumph

In the moments of fear, I choose faith

In the moments of worry, I choose wisdom

In the moments of helplessness, I choose hope

In the moments of perplexity, I choose the purpose

In the moments of mishap, I choose myself
