Well, my journey as a singer started way back when I was 5yrs old, my first stage performance, the foundation for it started way back, if I say about the learning process. I belong to a Bengali family, so art and culture are a part of our everyday life, so by birth, it's inculcated within us. My grandmother laid the foundation of singing within me, my first guru I can call her.
I also learned kathak, started from a very young age and learned for 15yrs, was into sports too, the Bengali’s favorite sport "soccer". So, a lot of things were on my plate since childhood and the cherry on top was my studies of course. So eventually somehow my destiny changed my path, and I landed in my first reality show "The Voice Of India" where I was one of the finalists, and then in the second reality show "Suron Ke Dabaang".
After that there was no looking back, I performed in stage shows all over India and abroad, performed for different occasions. Given my voice for Playbacks, music videos, and jingles. I have the capability to sing in different languages and that has helped me a lot.
So, I have sung "Ringtone" with Mukhtar Sahota for the Punjabi movie "Tera Desh", sang a Bengali Rabindra Sangeet for the daily soap "Aaj Aadi Kal Bhab" for the channel "Star Jalsha", sang for many music videos and released my own solo music videos "Sundori Kamala" through Zee Music in 2020, which won many awards and now I have joined a new reality show "Shehezade Hunar Ke" as a mentor.
Also, I am shooting my Hindi solo music video as a singer & songwriter for the first time, my new movie song is also due for release this month.
The career of singing actually came to me and graced my destiny, I am blessed, and I have met wonderful people in my journey who guided me, helped me, and made my journey a bed of roses, I made some unforgettable memories and also have some great friends. I love to create some great music and leave my own mark behind the music is my life.
