Time Hacking | Sarah Dawkins

Yesterday, I read Benjamin Hardy’s book, Slipstream Time Hacking and today found that I had a very productive day.  Was it because of the knowledge gained from reading what he wrote, was it from the fact that I woke up naturally at 5 am or just that I had a lot of tasks to complete today?  I am not sure.

I did find that I was able to do;

4 loads of laundry

Shopping  in town

Cleaning

Cook a roast dinner

Gardening (quick tidy up)

Hand wash 2 cars

Strip and remade bed with clean laundry

Check and respond to emails

Update my social media sites (twice)

Continue my on-line course

Have a 45 minute Skype conversation with family abroad

Spend half an hour sat on the rocking chair, in the warm sunshine with the dogs

Take a 45 minute siesta to refresh !

The day seemed to provide me with enough time to undertake all the tasks that I had to do, as well as enjoy some extra time (non-essential) shopping, perusing some of the sales, sitting in the sunshine, grounding myself with bare feet on the patio and taking a nap.  It has felt unhurried and has been an enjoyable day.

I was really aware of how much I achieved today, like time moved slowly to allow me to do everything AND get some quality time for myself too. How was your day? What did you do?
